Encouragement: Keep fighting the good fight

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol, I know we are all the way in March, and truthfully speaking, I am still adjusting to this new year, trying to see where I fit, but the only place seems to literally be in a hidden spot under the wings of the Lord (Psalm 91:2) and I’m learning to be grateful for it because it has kept me and kept my mind at peace.

I believe that many in the body of Christ have been hit with a wave of exhaustion that came from burdens, but also carrying our cross while enduring the burdens and weight of worshipping the Lord. I want to make this clear: bearing the cross is beautiful; it is not a burden. Suffering with Christ is a privilege, it is not a burden. Being put in a position where it’s only you and God is a beautiful thing because he stripped you of every person and everything that would’ve tried to claim His glory in your life. Carrying the cost comes with a price, you can’t be seen with something luxurious without knowing the weight to steward it, even Jesus carried a cross and paid a price so that God would be glorified in our lives.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but understand that when you are doing life with God and doing everything you can to live for him and please him, when suffering comes, it’s not because He is punishing you, but God is making you more like his son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You see, when you have done well in one level, you now receive access to go to the next level, but before you go to the next level, God must prepare you for it. What was sufficient for the last level that brought you through will not be sufficient for your next level. It’s time for your capacity to increase; it’s time to mature in the Christ-like nature you already walk in. It’s not to say that you weren’t Christ-like before, but there’s still some more growth. This is because God can trust you with what He want to bless you with and best believe it’s major.

So know that you did good when you chose not to respond in your flesh, when you chose praise over worry, when you choose to remain quiet when they lies came against you and allowed God to fight for you, when you chose to continue the journey instead of dropping out, when you choose to get back up again after the fall, when you chose to learn lessons instead condemn yourself, when you chose humility before God instead of pridefully getting vengeance on those you wanted to. Christ was living through you, and he wants to live even louder in the seasons to come, but Christ and your flesh cannot live together, rats and the King of the jungle never dwell in the same place.

I don’t know about you, but I can speak for myself personally that these past few months have felt like trying to use a GPS with loss signal and not knowing where I am going next, but just taking it one baby step at a time, fully depending on God. Though it’s been highly uncomfortable, God has been doing this to relinquish the idol I had made with false comfort in being in control in a situation.  I only want the Lord’s will to be done in my life, but for His precious Spirit to flow freely, He must come in with unscheduled disruptions that will uproot my schedule, my plans, and how I think life will go. You see, this is not hatred but chastising from the Father because he knows what we are capable of becoming and knows it can only come from what His love is capable of doing in us.

So keep going, child of God, you are actually in the perfect spot in God’s will. Keep obeying Him. Keep worshipping in spirit and in truth, keep evangelizing about the goodness and love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, keep showing up.

May the Lord give you the strength and peace to help you reach your breakthrough, and may those who don’t even know Him testify on your behalf that He is real, may those who doubted you speak that He is real. May God be glorified in your life and in your bloodline, in Jesus name, Amen.

Also, If you would like to accept the love of God and His son, Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, or even if you have backslidden and want to return to the Lord, here’s a prayer to guide you.

“ God almighty, I come before you to accept your love, to no longer reject you and what you have done for me. I choose to stop running from you and to finally stop rejecting myself of your love. Thank you for dying for me Lord Jesus, thank you for taking on my sins and shame. Thank you Lord that you became a curse for me so that I would no longer be bound by them but set free by your blood that was shed for me. Thank You for making yourself available to me, as friend, father, Lord, God, helper, comforter, savior, and all the good things I need in my life. Jesus I love you and ask you to help me keep loving you like how you want me to. I accept you completely as my Lord and savior, not what this world and demons have presented to me. Now I declare in the both spiritual and physical realm, that I not longer belong to Satan nor his Kingdom but according to Colossians 1:13, God has delivered me from the kingdom of darkness and has placed me in the Kingdom of light, where Jesus Christ is, I declare I belong to Jesus Christ and I now seat with Him In heavenly places. I rebuke all demonic retaliation in me making this decision and come into agreement with a sound mind in Jesus’ name. I repent, renounce, denounce, and divorce myself from all the sins I’ve committed (list what you can remember) and break the evil covenants associated with them, and I declare once again I am a part of the kingdom of Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ name I pray and seal this prayer in His blood, Amen.”

Hallelujah! Congratulations if you made this decision. I pray that you prevail in your walk in the Lord, that forces of darkness continue to fail concerning you, and that the forces of light continue to persevere and propel you in the name of Jesus.

And if you have not yet, get yourself a Bible. Please, it’s a lot of ghetto foolishness concerning Christianity and religion. The Bible is the only way to protect you from it and will show you how to be a Christian and have a real relationship with Jesus Christ.
